The Blank Notebook

Back in 1988, during my junior year of undergrad, I decided to learn to play the double bass. As a total beginner when I moved away to college, I picked up that electric bass guitar and started taking lessons from the bass prof at my university.

Do I have an Eb Neck?

Nope. I have a D neck. Here's my response from TB:

From the video, it appears that "D" sounds when the G-string is stopped at a position that is essentially directly opposite the heel of the neck. That would be a D-neck.

The response is from Les, a really cool guy who has been very helpful to me on the TB list.
